As a Field Program Manager, you will take ownership of day-to-day operations at the Innovation Centre, overseeing machine installations, retrofitting activities, and engineering project delivery. This position involves close collaboration with stakeholders and vendors to manage schedules, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely execution. Based at the Innovation & Design Testing Centre in Bellevue, you’ll lead cross-functional efforts, monitor deployment progress, and align resources with business objectives to support successful project launches from day one.
Key Responsibilities
Enforce health and safety procedures to ensure a secure work environment.
Oversee complex, concurrent engineering projects involving solution deployment.
Create and manage a detailed daily testing schedule for laboratory operations.
Collaborate with Innovation & Design (I&D) product stakeholders to optimise resource use and meet deadlines.
Direct the installation and start-up of new machinery and robotics systems for last-mile automation, aligning internal and vendor timelines.
Work alongside contractors and suppliers to ensure all installations adhere to technical criteria and organisational standards.
Diagnose and resolve issues encountered during installation and commissioning.
Allocate and prioritise site resources to maximise operational efficiency.
Ensure all documentation complies with industry standards and regional regulations.
Partner with engineering, project management, and lab teams to provide clear updates on retrofit progress, risk assessments, and project delivery.
Essential Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a closely related discipline
Hands-on experience in Industrial, Mechanical, or Process Engineering (or equivalent field)
Proven record in the installation and commissioning of automated systems and machinery
Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Excel and Project, or equivalent planning software
Competence in AutoCAD or similar design software
Strong analytical and proactive problem-solving abilities
Excellent organisational and project management skills
Familiarity with regional safety legislation and compliance frameworks
Desirable Skills
Master’s degree in Engineering or Business (or equivalent qualification)
Comfortable working independently in dynamic, uncertain contexts
Effective communication across varied disciplines (e.g. Legal, Operations, Finance, Safety, Regulatory Bodies, Industry Partners)
